Molecular Assemblies is seeking a self-motivated and highly detail-oriented Scientist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and troubleshoot chromatographic purification of small molecules
- Perform methods development for HPLC and FPLC separations
- Perform quality control analysis of products
- Analyze LCMS and NMR data
- Present data and reports; discuss results at individual and team meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of experimental procedures and analytical results
- Follow standard operating procedures, protocols from management
- Collaboratively support the advancement of compounds through screening process
- Maintain LCMS, HPLC, FPLC and lyophilizer
Required Experience & Skills:
- Significant experience with standard analytical and preparative techniques in synthesis and purification (LCMS, HPLC and FPLC)
- Great troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Proficient at multitasking and meeting deadlines
- Ability to interact effectively and directly within a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic startup environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Nucleoside and nucleotide separations/synthesis experience is a plus
- Ion exchange chromatography is a plus
- Experience with analytical techniques (NMR)
Educational Level, Educational Disciplines:
- PhD in chemistry with 0-3 years of industrial experience
- MS in chemistry with 3-7 years of industrial experience
